The Crissey Family of Stores seeks a proactive and motivated student eager to delve into the dynamic world of brick-and-mortar business operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in fundamental business processes such as accounting, inventory management, and payroll, providing a unique opportunity to understand the core aspects of managing a diverse set of establishments.
- Conduct daily audits across various locations to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial and inventory records.
- Apply general accounting principles to manage and prepare bank deposits, along with monitoring company charge accounts.
- Participate in inventory management, including counting, evaluation, and placing orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Assist in the processing of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees.
- Engage in various administrative tasks and provide support in other business management aspects as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
