NEW YORK, NY – August 15, 2023 – Inc. revealed today that Glo, the company behind the award-winning sensory water toys, Glo Pals, ranks No. 3,563 on the 2023 Inc. 5000, its annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The prestigious ranking provides a data-driven look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent, entrepreneurial businesses. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other household name brands gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“2023 was our first time applying for Inc. 5000 and to find out that we’re one of America’s fastest-growing private companies is just incredible. It’s a wonderful testament that our team is on the right track,” said Hagan Walker, Co-founder and CEO of Glo. “Our mission is to create products that engage children in sensory play and brighten their worlds. We’re incredibly proud to be delivering on that mission and to be part of such a prestigious group of companies.”

The Inc. 5000 class of 2023 represents companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges. Among this year’s top 500 companies, the average median three-year revenue growth rate ticked up to an astonishing 2,238 percent. In all, this year’s Inc. 5000 companies have added 1,187,266 jobs to the economy over the past three years.

For complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, location, and other criteria, go to www.inc.com/inc5000. The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine, available on newsstands beginning Tuesday, August 23.

“Running a business has only gotten harder since the end of the pandemic,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “To make the Inc. 5000—with the fast growth that requires—is truly an accomplishment. Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that are building our future.”

“We have been so fortunate to have the support of our local community, as well as our consumers,” said Anna Barker, Glo’s Chief Creative Officer. “But most importantly, we have an amazing team who has helped propel our business and get us to this milestone in our company history.”

Glo Pals products are designed with the belief that playtime is the best time to learn. The technology behind the toys was originally created for a classroom project at Mississippi State University, and was taken from a student project to one of America’s fastest growing companies via the University’s Entrepreneurship Center. Inspired and ideated to help a child with autism during bathtime, Glo Pals have evolved to aid in early childhood development by engaging children with interactive technology while encouraging imaginative play. A portion of every Glo Pals purchase is donated to Children’s Hospital of Mississippi, the state’s only children’s hospital. New products, including sensory tools and sensory jars will launch this fall. Please visit
